Oh IPod, why must you vex me?

By my own admission, I am not a bright person. However, you would think that I could figure out what the hell is wrong with my IPod.

ITunes does not recognize the IPod- at all.

My IPod is Taiwan.

Check your wire connection thing... And make sure that you have your sync settings set up for syncing... Um. I'm trying to be helpful, but I feel this is a failure.

Did you try the four R's recommended on the apple webpage?

The only thing I haven't done is restore the ipod, this is because itunes will not recognize that my ipod is connected to it.

Also, whenever I turn it on- it just seems to whirr and click, repeatedly.

Jesus! Just go to ipodlounge.com (or org or net...Google it). Never, ever, ever look to Apple for help. Ever.
